Step right up
Are plants really the villains in climate change? The Scientific American looks at the dueling theories of Germany's Max Planck Institute for Chemistry and the Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Research Utrecht.
Don't worry. Whatever ails Planet Earth -- if anything ails it at all -- we've already got the cure. Step right up folks and buy your carbon credits. Cures War, Poverty, Arthritis and Lumbago. And remember, this is the 21st century, the scientific age.

"For every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction, IF the Peoples' Steering Party doesn't find the reactionary element first, and reduce his argument to an irreducible state!"
The words Scientific American are enough of a clue to know to ignore anything following.
"...we've already got the cure. Step right up folks and buy your carbon credits."
Somebody, surely not Gore, was smart enough to use jaunty alliteration and the appealing term “credit” for the offsets concept, instead of going with its working description, “scam dispensation tradeable, lucrative chits enviro-market scheme.” Must have been Tipper, who has campaigned before on wording.
PHYLUM BIGOTS!!!
I missed the cite in my Karridine quote above:
"excerpted from: "The NEW Physics", by Perfessor Ima Gargoil, MTV, Ph.T."
For some reason Red River reminded me.

There's a simple way to test the man-made global warming hypothesis: If global warming was caused by mankind then the Earth would be warming and the other planets wouldn't be.
Temperature data taken by the mars orbiter reveals Mars is warming up at four times the rate the Earth is warming up.

Why isn't that worthy of headlines at the NY Times? You hear about the vanishing snow on Mount Kilamanjaro, but the melting Martian icecaps never get any press coverage.
Oh well, buy your carbon credits here...

Warming Denial is a Nazi Conspiracy.
Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies[1]) is an adage that Mike Godwin formulated in 1990. The law states:[2]
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.
Godwin's Law does not question whether any particular reference or comparison to Hitler or the Nazis might be appropriate, but only asserts that one arising is increasingly probable
I've got a computer, paper and a printer and a copier. I even have a small corporation and some technical knowledge. I have all I need to manufacture carbon offsets.
Get em now while they're still shiny and new.
Part of my program to significantly increase my carbon footprint by '08
