Catch N' Release

The Blotter reports that "British police have a 'crystal clear' picture of the man who drove the bomb-rigged silver Mercedes outside a London nightclub, and officials tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com he bears 'a close resemblance' to a man arrested by police in connection with another bomb plot but released for lack of evidence." (Hat tip: Tigerhawk) Which only proves the camera lenses work. It is something else that is broken.

Nothing follows.

Pols n' Diplos living fattest of all.
Pols n' Diplos don't want to risk their fat, so are willing to allow incidental killing of us.
Welcome to the Monkey House.

Or as Souxie used to sing, welcome to the happy house. Damn, it is getting hard to be happy. I'll be damned if I can't find a way. I refuse to succumb. I shall not give up my jihad!

It is so disheartening to see such decay caused by the growth of the incompetent, corrupt, ineffective and bloated bureucracies.

I think of the fat federal bureucracies like Department of Education and Internal Revenue Service. I think of the Government Employees Union and the National Education Association.

All great civilizations fell when they became top heavy with bureucrats. Corporations are going to fall the same way due to their institutionalized bureaucracies.

Eventually it will be impossible to get anything done any more and the whole house of cards will fall.

I wonder what will replace it.

Salaam eleikum, Allahu akbar!

Crazy,

Corporations fall all the time, by dint of the market weighing in on the efficiencies of their corporate structure. The only worry we have there is an increasing reliance on Congress to erect barriers to entry that interdict that market check.

I sympathize with your loathing of bureacracies, however. They are institutionalized rot. The primary problem with most post-Colonial Third World countries, I'd bet Richard'd aver.

Last night I ate a grilled dry-rubbed 16 oz. NY Strip Steak, medium rare, with garlic butter. Made me happy.
