Ready For Love

And some US candidates have problems because they are Mormons. Omar Brooks, who described the 7/7 suicide bombers as "completely praiseworthy" and heckled Home Secretary John Reid in a high-profile confrontation last week is looking for 3 more wives. Although already married with 3 children and reportedly living off £700 a month in state benefits, he is seeking more wives, with the intention of fathering more than nine children. (Daily Mail)

Brooks says his most attractive physical feature is his long beard — although he adds that it "doesn’t grow beyond a certain limit". He describes himself as "muscular", 5ft 11in tall, with hazel eyes. He enjoys kung fu, going to the gym and studying in the local mosque.

Left out anything else you like doing, Omar?

Why does a leeching, shiftless layabout loser get a state wage just so he can breed more leeches and try to overthrow the government of the country that has given him refuge from the unfree country his co-religionists fled from?

It just goes to show you that socialism like the English and European systems makes folks' brains shrink from neglect.

Hello? Anyone home?

Because he's entitled to. Once you have your own superiority firmly established in your mind the only problem is how to get others to acknowledge your suzerainty.

No, W

Once you get your own self loating in place, you're fair game for the shiftless shits of every persuasion to rip you (or your head) off.

I think Omar Brooks is a perfect example of how radical Islam harnesses some sort of thermodynamics to capture entire nations. It's almost a machine to suck up energy to disrupt the system it enters. It captures enough of the environmental energy, in the form of consumer technology, welfare payments etc for the purpose of powering up a parasitic core. But the purpose of the core itself is to break down the system; to introduce entropy. And the more the victim system creates energy the more of it is captured by radical Islam.

Omar Brooks will get the British taxpayer to pay to create at least 12, possibly 15 clan members who will be indoctrinated to do the same. His expected 6 sons (of the 12 total) can then create six more each. And pretty soon, the viruses kill the system.

That's the weak point of Islam. It's final state is primitive chaos. The future of Islam is internecine warfare among so many illiterate imams. That's why the Caliphate remains a dream. It's stable existence is contradictory to radical Islam itself. But that comes too late for the victims.

Of course the most massive infusion of energy into the radical Islamic system comes from petroleum. It allowed them access to untold sums of money without really having to work for it. And the more the outside world progressed, the more oil they needed; and the more trouble radical Islam caused, the more oil cost. It's the ultimate perpetual motion machine. No wonder they think it is a miracle provided by Allah.

And then there's crime. Radical Islam and crime have a symbiotic relationship. It gives crime an alibi for being -- even a nobility -- and fuels the Jihad. Plus it increases entropy. From the "youths" of France, to the "freedom fighters" of the Middle East, crime and radicalism are closely related activities.

How do we fight these with armies? We can't. Not with armies alone. But the medicine probably provides a good number of analogues for fighting viruses. One is to mess up their DNA code. This happens already. Each "transcription" of the terrorist franchise has copying errors that leads to factions, that leads to fratricide. The cell metabolism can be disrupted, which is why wrecking its rackets and money laundering rackets often prevent its spread.

Even if one were to nuke all the countries in the Middle East, a course akin to aggressive radiotherapy, for so long as the idea remained it would metastize again. The strategy for fighting radical Islam is to find smart delivery systems, to find DNA code changes, to break up its metabolic pathways, etc. In short to treat it like a human cancer. But if it's any consolation, that prescription refers to any dysfunctional ideology, Nazism included. What people often forget is that being more than 1,000 years old, the radical Islamic virus has had a lot of time to evolve into an immensely sophisticated pathogen.

What happens if the the cancer is quelled? Then radical Islam can become Islam. Like Turkey. Like the friendly kebab man down the street. The malignancy becomes a normal cell. But it will take some doing.

If you consider Turkey, one of the few large-scale examples of a Muslim society which is fairly democratic and non-Islamic the key to their strategy is to forbid the formation of certain DNA sequences. Secularism will be enforced, even at the point of a gun. The prime directive is "no theocracy".

And the key to understanding why it works in Turkey is because it was the core of the Ottoman empire. It had traumatic experience with the kind of weakening, dysfunction and chaos that Islam brought. Islam made the Ottomans, once a world power, the "sick man of Europe". It got burned out them like Nazism was burned out of Germany and militarism burned out of Japan.

As for the rest, they have no memory of modern greatness. No memory of anything but humiliation and for many Arab or African countries, radical Islam offers the promise of greatness. They do not see it as the stairway to perdition.

But the West has DNA which prevents it from stopping the formation of an radical Islamic information sequence. That DNA, which politically goes by the name of freedom, was built into the West from the Enlightenment. It is the operating system of the West's greatness. But the Islamic virus takes advantage of this core code and sends it into an endless loop. Radical Islam represents a "choice" to voluntarily end all choice. And the civil libertarians all go "tilt". The lights flash and the system beats itself to death. Look at Omar Brooks.

wretchard,

The secularization of Turkey was not the culmination of either a constitutional convention or reasoned parliamentary debate. Ataturk ruthlessly suppressed Islam (as well as Christianity). Turkey’s highway to secularization is littered with the bones of millions of uncooperative ethnic and non-ethnic Turks.

If the West is to take its lead from Ataturk, then, Islam must be crushed unmercifully.

Modern Turkey - A Shining Example of Secular Democracy?

Have the “inherently” immoderate inclinations of Islam been mollified anywhere without the use of brutal force?

Suzerainty

suzerain. The term suzerainty was originally used to describe the relationship between the Ottoman Empire and its surrounding regions. It differs from sovereignty in that the tributary has some (limited) self-rule. A suzerain can also mean a feudal lord, to whom vassals must pay tribute.

From my extensive reading over the last couple of years, allen is right. I even had a long email from a Turk (expat) about this very thing. He says that his home is headed for another civil war as the Islamics are not going to go down without major terrorist attacks and subversion of the government and the military.

As far as your statement about radical Islam going back to Islam, that is what this guy you highlighted is. He is the "moderate" form of Islam. He is going to take over with numbers and by changing the government little by little, as is being accomplished now in [e]urope.

The only difference between the radicals and "the other Muslims" is the method of bringing infidels to servitude and death.

Islam can't be modified, reformed unless it is by force and even then if you leave one Muslim it is his duty to try and convert everyone else and to make Islam the one and only religion.

papa ray,

While most folk know that the Holy Land was the cradle of Christianity, few recall that Turkey was its nursery.

Unless memory fails, at the turn of the 20th Century, at least 30% of the population of modern Turkey was Christian. Today, about 0.02% of Turks call themselves Christian. Please, let me say that again, 0.02%.

This “displacement” is typical of Muslim territory.
