The Wrong Side of the World

Here's a link from Blackfive, a reminder of another set of men and women from Down Under.

"Seawitch sends this awesome video of Aussie lass Beccy Cole who is singing "Poster Girl" in response to some of her fans who disagree with her supporting the Diggers, the Australian soldiers fighting in The Long War."

I saw that video a while ago, and she's a doll, someone who supports her country, troops, and efforts in these wars without succumbing to chic/puerile cynicism. Good on her!

Awesome indeed. I've read that the left/intelligencia/Hollywood didn't step up and throw in with our side in WWII until Hitler attacked their beloved Uncle Joe. I wonder what it will take to get our entertainment elites invested in this war. The bloody murder of a pro-feminist film maker in Holland and a fatwa against a renowned author of color a few years ago didn't do much. A suicide bomber at the Oscars? Or a gay pride parade? My guess is an attack on the U.S. a la 9/11 WHEN A DEMOCRAT IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE as others have suggested. It makes me think about voting for Hilary.

I'm thinking it will be soon after the DNC "symbolically" adopts Sharia law in support of their oppressed Muslim brothers, and the cable news network talking heads start getting chopped off, Wynona Ryder gets her hand amputated for shoplifting eye liner at Macy's, and Rosie gets 70 strokes of the cane for being the self-appointed queen of all lesbians.

The entertainment elites aren't saying they're not interested, lordie they are, they are, lordie. They just feel the war hasn't been "pitched" right. Now, add President Hillary and a gay pride bomber, you've got prologue. But where's the love interest? And could some of the bad guys maybe sport a "Euro" look? I'm thinking Die Hard - In Love, or maybe Die Hard II - In Love. Look I've got this great offshore re-write team. They touched Pearl Harbor and Slither. 1 percent flat, they'll work the pitch in, script on your desk Monday. What have you got to lose?

WomanCatholic,

Aren't you the Teresita who "welcomed her Democrat overlords" after the election recently on a thread at alt.zena? You seemed quite pleased, so what a surprise. Didn't you get that "shining city on a hill" that would stop Bush's torture policy, after Nov. 7?

But we should give the entertainment elites credit when they do their part. e.g., Cartman vs. Osama.

"You guys are just b***holes."

Uh, thanks guys.

Rosie would only get 70 lashes if she got raped. Queen of the Lesbians = Death by hanging.

(I saw a video on the web a few days ago about two gay men who were hanged in Iran. I can't find it now, or I would link it here.)

Another 9/11?

Why risk the blowback from disturbing the West's multicultural daydreams.

Simply continue relentlessly gaming the West's legal and media institutions, playing to its victim culture and cowing its easily-snookered ruling class with Muslim special pleading.

Drive its influence out of the middle east -- directly, by taunting and embarrassing its politically-hand-tied military, and indirectly, by convincing the West's elites that it shouldn't have set foot there anyway.

Yes, I understand the logic that if the Dems 'owned' the war they'd, maybe, prosecute it more vigorously. But our enemies understand that, too. And they also know how easily the Left can be seduced.

Fantasic!

I will be looking for her music, for sure.

Who was that Aussie model that said just prior to the 2004 election "If you want to throw a party, get Bill Clinton. If you want to fight a war, you need George W. Bush."

Beautiful and have their heads screwed on straight. What a combinaton!
