Thanks on this day

Since I've posted music videos by Australian Beccy Cole and Canadian Terry Kelly here at Belmont, it's only fair to put one up for the USA. It's message is old but as all true ones are, never out of date. For all of our cares and troubles, let's give thanks for what we have.

This is a good day to stop and realize that we enjoy peace, because ordinary people, whom John Kerry depises, put themselves in harms way on our behalf.

I know why we don't vacation in Afganistan, and I'm glad.

I'm thankful there has not been a terrorist attack on the United States in more than five years (not that they aren't trying, witness the UK air bomb plot)

Ha! That's funny, Wretchard.

I've vacationed in Afghanistan, it wasn't so bad. As long as you didn't go out after dark, or stop on the roads outside the "cities." You could still see the ruins from the war in Herat - the one Genghis Khan laid on them in 1221.

Happy Thanksgiving! Especially to those who provide for our peace and do so at the risk of life and limb.

Saying "Thannks" and being being greatful for all we have... so much of which we do not deserve, but enjoy nonetheless'

Grace is getting what we don't deserve; mercy is not getting what we do.

God Bless America!
