Death Squad Is Killed: "An Al Qaeda assassination team was killed by Coalition Forces in Fallujah Tuesday. Coalition snipers heard gunshots and quickly responded to the murder of an off-duty Fallujah policeman by gunmen in civilian clothes. The Marines from 1st Battalion, 24th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 5 immediately engaged the armed gunmen and killed two of them. The third gunman was killed as he attempted to flee in a vehicle." (MNF-Iraq). Nothing follows.

Off-duty policemen aren't armed? For a country with so many guns, none of the kidnapping / assassination victims ever seem to shoot back. How odd.
I've never met a cop who didn't carry off duty, even after they "retired" from the force.
The horrific ongoing killing in Bagdhad is Muslim-on-Muslim, it's not our doing.
But if the Democrats win, we will start to believe America is losing.
No more Nation Building ever, that's for damn sure, no matter who wins.
This is the kind of report that's music to my ears. Our guys have got or are getting the scent of these asasination teams. Remember when we were fighting the Mahdi militia through that huge Shiite cemetery? It sounded bad and then it turned out the U.S. troops got their number. Like they came to die in a Jihad and thereby get to heaven. And there they went. Same kind of thing with this story. It's a technically different fix but but it's a fix. I don't want to say too much.
The cop may have had a pistol in his pocket but he was ambushed by three guys in civies. He didn't have a chance. Somebody set him up.
They killed some bad guys and Maliki didn't complain?
