Thanks to everyone who voted for the Belmont Club

I'd like to personally thank everyone who voted to push the Belmont Club into the top 10 finalists at this years Blog Awards for the Best Conservative Blog.

Nothing follows.

Wish I'd known where to vote. I'd have voted for BC in an instant. This site has, by far, the most intelligently written and analytical review of current events I have encountered online. . .including the comments by readers.

What yashmak said. Wretchard, you should have at least mentioned it, as Glenn did.

Glenn was seriously in the running. Belmont Club was never going to win the derby, and so there was never any point to getting folks all hot and bothered. It felt a little like running bandit in the Boston Marathon, which I did long years ago. You don't have to win for it to be fun. Just being there's a gas.

Wretchard, you're too modest. You're easily one of the brightest guys on the web.

I agree with Eggplant. Wretchard, you really do some fantastic work here. Even though I find myself to be far more politically middle of the road than many here, this is always the first blog I check each day. Always something of interest, great links, and informed posts. Beyond being in the running for "best conservative blog", Belmont is just simply one of the best blogs ever.

I dunno, I kinda think of the BC as my super secret surfing spot. The less people that know about it, the better! Besides, your regular readers and contributors know who's really number one.

I have been lurking at BC for long before the switch from the old Belmont Club to the new Fallback...I have never posted before, but I come here every day - several times. This is the best written, most thought out conservative blog I have encountered.

I would have liked to have known there was a vote. BC would have mine.

Thank you Wretchard for the best site on the web. Vote or no Vote.

Look, Wretchard, you are THE man. Reynolds is great, but he's a whole different animal. You, my friend, are fascinating. I hope your working on a memoir. The snippets of your Bio, doled out in excruciatingly small doses, lead me to believe there's an inspiring and uplifting "Everyman" story there.
