The reason the Taliban came after the SEALs was that the team had stumbled across some local people and chose to let them go.

And rather than just shooting them or even tying them up and leaving them somewhere they chose to let the locals go in fear of what the U.S. media would say.

Of course, the lone survivor of the team owes his life to the locals who hid him from the Taliban.

Our troops don't just have to be brave - they have to be brave while walking a tightrope.

Was I afraid of the liberal media back in the U.S.A? Yes.

Nobody has the special operators backs, and they know it.
