The Return of Wesley Clark

Wesley Clark endorses Hillary Clinton. Talk Left looks at whether Clark will be on the ticket and what he will contribute to Hillary's policies. Nothing follows.

This 'Kumbaya' stuff sounds odd coming from the General who ordered British troops during the Bosnian conflict to attack a Russian force, and was restrained only when the British officer under his command refused to obey the order.

What's really laughable about this is that Wesley Clark presumably imagines that he will get something back from the Clintons in exchange for supporting them. If so then he's a dupe. Watch them suck him dry and toss him aside.

If I recal correctly, did Wesley Clark not act on behalf of Saddamn Hussien during the trials in Iraq?

If so, then why would any politician desire his endorsement?

As a career military officer myself, Wesley Clark is easy to recognize. He literally is acting like the classic military man's view of a politician, and that is a rather unpleasant representation - even when it is accompanied by some admiration.

And, mind you, I believe that Clark CHOSE this unpleasant characature as his guideline. That speaks even more poorly of the man than does his choice of role models.

Also, let us not forget that Gen Wesly Clark was FIRED as NATO commander due to demonstrated poor judgement and what other general officers have referred to as "integrity issues." One of the generals he commanded in NATO had to refuse a direct order from him, saying "I won't start World War III just to get you out of a jam." I think he is the only officer to ever get fired as NATO Commander.

And Dynamic: I think you are thinking of RAMSEY Clark, former Attorney General. Honest mistake and quite understandable....

This perfumed prince is just a guy who has spent his life carrying around a shiny mirror.

He needs to go back in the military, as a second LT. so that he might learn what leadership really means...or perhaps as a private if need be.

A stupid man who thinks he is really smart.

I actually heard Wesley Clark say that this country was founded on the principal of progressive taxation when he was "running" last time. -

"Progressive taxation with representation!!!?!?!!!" Yep that's what our forefathers demanded.

What a maroon!
