Pentagon Goes YouTube

The Internet revolution continues. Multi-National Force - Iraq established a YouTube channel "to give viewers around the world a 'boots on the ground' perspective of Operation Iraqi Freedom from those who are fighting it. ... We will only edit video clips for time, security reasons, and/or overly disturbing or offensive images."

  3. Actually, Sultan, YouTube is over-LOADED, period. And that is not a problem; it is a feature.

Good stuff? Talk it up. Link to it. Debate its strengths and weaknesses. ENCOURAGE THE CONTRIBUTORS BY RATING THE VIDEOS. Now we know it's there, thanks to Wretchard. Now we can find it and now we can point it out to others. And now, as before, we may simply not waste attention on the vast stores of detritus overflowing elsewhere.

May I suggest this quintessentially American doctrine for righteous struggle:

“Support the strong, give courage to the timid, remind the indifferent, and warn the opposed.”
    - Whitney M. Young, Jr.

Hmmm. Must remember to thank the folks doing this. AND MUST REMEMBER TO RATE THE CLIPS I WATCH.
